Orienteering in Ohio yesterday, cross country skiing today in Marquette Mi.
Conditions were spring like, but the base is a foot or more. Skiing here for at least the next couple of weeks if they groom the trails.
It was perfect temps, the trail was sorta hard but it was groomed and fast.

Voice of America park north of cinn Ohio.
This was a new park that was interesting but very fast.
No time lost on mistakes for me. That’s good since GT lost 20 seconds and that would of put us within one second if he didn’t.

Yea Orienteering on a retired golf course. This was the most perfect area for a long Orienteering meet on a closed golk course. Reminded me a lot of last summer night O in Canada. It was pretty soggy and some controls on trails just off the old course. I have always said that golf courses were a waste of perfect park property that would support recreation for all, not just the .......

Anyway it was Fast and fun!
Would love to see more of these events on current golk courses too!

Cool area and sorta of sprint type controls after the first control.
Fast and fun!

Running 56:00 [3] 8.4 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Montrail light racers

Run at the recplex today due to cold snow and nasty wind. Also wanted a solid surface so not to twist my ankle and i also wore an ankle brace. This is one of the first time I had real issues with an ankle ever!
