Orienteering Meet race 39:35 [5] *** 4.0 km (9:54 / km) +145m 8:23 / km
ahr:157 max:165 spiked:18/10c shoes: Icebug black 2

Middle distance, I guess my favorite event to run. This park was sprint like for the event. Cold and snow on the ground. No 2 had to cross a wet stream and again to get out. Some real thick stuff out there, but not terrible to get through.
Fun event and ended up with the fastest green course time.

US Relay Champs.....I was on a 12 point team with Nati, Bruce and KB.
We won!!
Everyone did well and our super stud 4 point team took second place.
My run was very wet and slippery in spots. Lots of trail options and I fogged up my reading glasses near the end and just became carefull and slowed down.
Cold wet day, but fine for running if you had a visor.

US Night O Champs.... Well the weather was perfect, the snow slippery, the courses good. I just decided to skip a control #4. My excuse is the purple lines from three went to 4 and the line from 5 went through 3. So in my brain dead state I went to 5 skipping 4.
Overall fun till I was stuck in some weeds I could not get out.
Good results from CAOC

Lesson learned keep track of which control I am at and where I am going. Simple

Last day here , so out for a quick run and swim before breakfast and 9:30 shuttle to airport. Jamaica farewell .., good song
