Very unpleasant ride - to Bayview via a loop of Akuna Bay. Started raining on the road down from Terry Hills and just got heavier and heavier and heavier. Riding through about 4 cm of water from Church Point, asthe water coming from the sky and the hillside couldn't drain off the road as fast as it arrived.

Yuk.

Felt very sluggish early, esp quads.
Not a single niggle until I took off after waiting at traffic lights 50m from work and left ankle crapped out.

Just realised as I typed in this that I never subbed off the whole game - game hog.

1st Semi (don't ask) against the team that beat us 7-2.
With Costa playing and them having 11 (for 5 a side) we went up 4-0 by half time, helped by 3 own goals.
In the second half they played their best 6 and got 3 goals very quickly to almost catch us. We held out to win 4-3.

Legs very sore coming home, feel where I got hit a few times.
