Note

Managed my own car park/roof rack incident:
Alexa's kayak was in the roof and I had to nip into work. Looked at the boom, which said 2m and I thought, yep its only a bit higher than me, should be fine... forgetting the rudder stuck up another 10 or 15 cm.

Of course the rudder is the last thing to hit and by then you are kind of committed...

Backwards round the Iggies loop - undershot the attack on the cliff line going back to the farm.

Great map, great course, but I never got ahead of myself to the point where I was planning, so took a couple of dumb route choices or three.

Run from work - feeling ratshit this morning, not sure if its the bike ride, the bee-sting I got yesterday or what. Hoped to run my body becak to normal.

Niggly groin is back - day off tomorrow.

Ride to Bayview... fairly unpleasant until Terry Hills, then I had to go straight down McCarrs Creek road to get to pick Lyra up in time. The last climb is a real killer still. Managed it in 2nd, couldn't remember if shifting to 1st on the road bike threw the chain or not. Pain.

UWS Paramatta sprint.

Almost blew #1, then pushing to get Shingo in sight. Lost contact 13-14 and made a 90 degree error - fortunately building I was running past quickly felt all wrong, eventually spotted Shingo at building behind and managed to get to the control at the same times, so he made a bigger mistake.

"Flash" Coady won in 16:39, then Greg 2s ahead of me maintaining his career advantage over me.
