Easy up Loxley for a bit with ba-ba. This was supposed to help shake off the night before. It didn't.

SPOOK vs ShUOC football.
Not great for the first half; out on the wing where there was too much mud to be abe to accelerate or turn without getting dumped on my arse. Having to play in fell shoes didn't help much. Had a much better time of things in the anchorman/"Makelele" role in the second. Ended as a 6-3 win to the boys in non-black.
R ankle took a couple of hits - fashionably late challenges from messrs Barber and Owens. Bit bruised but seems to be settling down a bit now. Hamstrings are absolutely wrecked mind...
Dragged myself out for an easy run around some of the old haunts (everyone else was orienteering and/or ill). From Broomhill, up to the top of Porter, over and around the lanes to the top of Crimicar, golf course, Rivelin top path, down to Malin Bridge. Very slow to start with, took fricking ages to get up Porter, but perked up considerably on the return leg.
Rivelin with ba-ba. Out to the field of little horses, up to the top of Coppice track, back in via the stables and Bole Hill park. Good to be back. SPOOK!
WH Weds run. Usual Brighton Road -> Quartermile -> Shackstead loop and then up C'Haus to finish with Ian, JP, Phil, Ben and Rajeev. Ummed and ahhed a bit about going tonight but glad I did in the end; legs still relatively fresh even after track yesterday.
