Orienteering race 58:13 [4] 6.0 mi (9:42 / mi)
shoes: Innov8 X-Talon

Lakes 5 Days, day 1; Swindale South. Course 2, M50L, 8.4km, 280m.
Grim weather: driving heavy rain, more a survival exercise than a race. It did help concentrate the mind to avoid spending any more time out of the car than necessary. Good almost clean run with just the odd hesitation but didn't feel like I was running very strongly.
1st place just over 2 mins clear of Clive H, although James Logue just pipped me on M45L.

Green forest trail from Frostavallen with Mikey followed by swim in the lake. Left calf fine but slight tightness in right calf towards the end.

OK Gynge Medel race, Syatte. Middle Distance.
H50 3.7km.
Rougher area than O Ringen with lower quality mapping. Good clean run. 1st place (of only 9 or 10). Results:
