Dales weekend, Day 2. Conistone North.
Blue course, 6.9km 220m.
R calf spasmed painfully immediately on leaving the start so had the choice of retiring or walking. Decided to walk the course which was fairly enjoyable but a bit frustrating. I'm pretty sure walking is better than doing nothing and the calf did ease off if anything as I went round. Probably need a week off running.

Dales weekend, Day 1. Langstrothdale.
Blue course, 5.4km 195m.
A bit of a tussock fest. Not great area and course didn't use the best bits. Still a lovely day in a beautiful part of the world.
Pretty steady. Just a little off course en route to #6.
R calf spasming again towards the end. Not sure tomorrow will be possible.
