POM Day 2 Santo Andre and Santa Cruz
M55 8.8 km 205m 12 controls
Proper Long Distance. Early start so not too hot but will definitely have tracked up in places later on, particularly on #10 to #11. One 2.5km leg which was just a big track run. Somewhat worried how my Achilles will react. 10 mins icing it in the swimming pool afterwards.
5th place again, 6 mins down on Conny Forsberg.

POM Day 1. Santiago do Cacem.
M55 5.2km 165m.
Hilly middle distance urban race. Quite hot, especially compared to back home. Looking after my calves I was very cautious particularly running downhill. The odd sub-optimal route but less than a minute lost in total. Quite happy with 5th place (3rd Brit) 2:40 behind Conny Forsberg.
Bring on the proper orienteering tomorrow ;-)
