Starting heel raise exercises again.
10 x 2-footed heel raises with 5 second hold. This was completely pain free and seemed too easy. Progress to stage 2 tomorrow.
Terrain running20:00 [3] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi) (injured)
Shortest (technical) course on offer at Carlingford Mountain was 4.5km and therefore decided not to try orienteering. Instead jogged to/from start and around the car park and finish area. Total about 20 mins in 5 min batches. Achilles feeling fine.
Really disappointed not to be able to run one of the SHI courses and compare myself in the very testing (low visibility) conditions.
Edit: just seen James Logue's result at Edale. Thank goodness for M50!

Rehab (again). 10 mins v easy jog up the road towards Yateholme. 10 min walk warm up and down. Achilles a little sore but roughly back to where it was before doing the Ultrasprint. Ice after.

...another session with Kim. This week's soreness was almost certainly as a result of running too fast on Saturday. Will I ever learn?! She loosened off all the bits which had tightened up again and gave me a new rehabilitation program.
