Orienteering race 36:43 [4] 4.0 mi (9:11 / mi)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw (3)
POM Day 4, Paiol-Sines
M55 5.5km 215m
Achilles only very slightly worse than yesterday so decided to race as 3rd overall was achievable. Succeeded in this but uncertainty (at time of writing) what happened to the leader overall. He didn't use his allocated start time but (as far we know) started early in order to catch his flight. No result for him today available but assume that he ran quick enough to maintain his lead. Clive was fastest of the rest with me in 5th, 1:30 behind. Not sure how close the overall points were but happy with 3rd.
Achilles now getting 4 days off running. Fingers crossed. ..

Edit: Turns out that Clive did win the stage with Conny Forsberg in 2nd. I was therefore 6th but held on to 3rd overall.
