Orienteering -race 1:05:58 [4] *** 5.1 km (12:56 / km)
12c slept:6.0 shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Frozen Pig Night O champs, Green. 25F, some snow, snow on ground but nothing much melted except stream crossings. Ran pretty clean and well - lost perhaps 5 minutes to errors, but given night-o i'm pretty happy to have no major errors and nothing i couldn't recover from. Loads of fun in general, and especially seeing so many lights in the valleys and on the hills

Orienteering 1:07:30 [3] ***
16c slept:8.0 shoes: Inov8 rocklite 315 -3

Hinckiley with Dave K. We didn't bring compasses, and that was a great exercise. Similar conditions to yesterday, but didn't feel as cold. The left foot neuroma only acted up when after 50minutes during a short trail run.

Orienteering 2:30:00 intensity: (50:00 @1) + (50:00 @2) + (50:00 @3)
20c slept:8.0 shoes: Salomon XD3D Ultra

With Bob and KJ at Kendall. 24F, 1" snow on ground. Lots of loitering along the way, and KJ lost her compass, making this longer and less intense than i expected or dressed for - by the end I lost use of my fingers. Beautiful day, scared up a dozen turkeys
Tried the new salomon shoes, and found that they have terrible grip, and don't have all that much more padding.
