Cycling 45:00 [3]

A few loops around Wash Park after a long day of spring cleaning in the house and in the yard. But now I can actually see out of my windows.

Orienteering race 1:06:12 [4] 5.4 km (12:16 / km)

RMOC event at Fox Run Regional Park. Green course.

This went pretty well. I messed up on two controls, but those were the two that had a few issues. The first one was set at the bottom of a reentrant vs. the top. I saw the control from above, but I thought it was a White control since it was on a trail junction. I finally convinced myself to go look at it, and it was mine...of course! The second control I had issues with had a control description of "depression" but it was actually on top of a hill. Unfortunately, there was a trail that went right over the hill and would have hidden any depression ticks, so it was difficult to tell that is was *not* a depression. Oh, well.

Other than that, I had a good time. It was another busy meet due to the CSOL kids, so I jumped in to help with registration and beginner instruction. I was determined to go out on a course today, so I didn't linger much longer than necessary.

Mt. Biking 30:00 [3]

On my way home, I stopped by bbrooke's mt. biking park, Hidden Mesa, to take a look around. It's actually a sweet little trail, with some slick rock and then nice, easy single track. I'll definitely be back to try it out again.

And then I had a wonderful invitation from bbrooke herself...and Troy!...to join them at Crave Burger in Castle Rock for some much-needed food. It was another fabulous outing with them!
