Cycling 1:04:00 [3]

The season's inaugural ride on the Cherry Creek Trail. It was a gorgeous day out...a little bit of a headwind on the way back, but beautiful blue skies and bright sunshine. I felt pretty good...not going too speedily but not sure of the distance since my Forerunner was dead and my cycling computer wasn't registering anything. Just trying to toughen up all of the pressure points...hands, bum, and other areas.

On the way back, though, I saw the ominous grey clouds over the Rockies, signaling rainy weather tomorrow, turning into snow on Monday night and continuing through Tuesday, bringing another 6 - 12" of snow!

Luckily, I'll be in NJ. Never thought I'd ever be saying THAT!!

After a last minute change in plans meant our course setter for today's meet couldn't hang controls or be at the meet, a bunch of us pitched in to take care of it for him. So, I spent some time in the morning hanging controls, all day at the registration table, and then some time at the end collecting controls. Although I didn't go out on a course, I had a fun day.
