Orienteering 1:32:30 [3] *** 8.3 km (11:09 / km)
15c

It was a hot, humid day, and nobody had any energy. I don't remember what my exact time was, but I think it was a bit over 1:32:00, so I'm within 30s. The course wasn't particularly difficult, mostly because I've been to Pawtuckaway so many times, and I found my concentration drifting frequently. It was a good long run, though, and right now that's the best thing for me to be doing.

Wicked Hard Night-O. I was not able to defend my title this year, but I still had a great time on the course, and by a great time I mean this is the least miserable I've ever been (It actually was a good time, though). Almost the entire time the top few runners were within about 30s of each other it seemed, and this kept the pace fairly high. As a matter of fact, the pace at night was faster than the pace during the day's courses.

Ian Smith emerged victorious this year, so congratulations to him, and good luck training throughout the next year... I'm coming for you.

Running 32:15 [3]

Slightly different route that makes a loop instead of out-and-back. It's shorter, but I wanted a little variety.

Running 38:10 [3]

Nice weather. Overcast, but could have rained more. Also, a slow day but felt pretty good the whole time.
