Note
Back in Boston after a week in Rochester finishing off the RIT map. I'm really happy with how most of it turned out. It reinforces my map geekery when I get so excited seeing it all come together. All these random sheets of fieldwork and slow drafting in OCAD somehow comes together at the end to create what I think is quite beautiful. The woods that I mapped turned out like crap though. With the summer as wet as it has been, everything is flooded and infested with bugs. It took some work to even to to some places due to the roaring water some days going over the foot bridges. I think I will have to revisit it this fall or next summer in more normal conditions to get something I am happy with charging a customer for.
Up next is a trip to Scotland (YAY!) and then a trip to Rio (What do people do on beaches all day?) Then back to Rochester for a month to rebuild some parts of my parents house. Its turned into a busy summer.
