Working my way west across the campus, and then filling in some holes in the east.
I tackled some of the hardest building areas today, where there had been recent construction and I had no good base data. Lots and lots of back and forth circling around to try and construct the proper geometry, and get the closure error down enough so that everything fits the way I want, and lines up with the appropriate approaches into the area. Its satisfying when it all works, but just takes a long time to really think it through to make sure its correct. It's easy to trust the wrong reference point, and start working from there, only to find that when you get to the other side of the construction site you're off by enough that you run into the next building, and then have to go back and try and shift everything to make it work. The eraser got a good workout today. I can't imagine trying to make a whole sprint map this way without good photos.
