Training Log Archive: edwarddes

I stopped by Newton city hall to talk to the GIS administrator this afternoon. I'm excited for all the new data I'll have tomorrow. They are putting together a cd with a bunch of useful layers on it. Street boundaries, some sidewalk data, property boundaries, building outlines, and 2ft contours. I also found out that a new set of photos were flown last year, and should be available soon. Hopefully that soon is better then the soon they have been saying about the NELidar project data...

Cold Spring Park
basemap and some basic features. Need to go take a walk to get a feel for what things look like on the ground before I add the rest of the basemap drafting.
