Mapping-Fieldwork 1:45:00 [3]
Charles River Basin
South side from the harvard bridge to the BU bridge. Most of the time was just walking from the T stop out there and back. Actually mapping the area was super quick, but I spent my time walking out slowly getting a feel for Giovannis style on the existing bit and looking at the areas they have installed new playgrounds.
They are already fencing off areas and have trailers installed for the 4th.

Danehy
Copied from old map onto new basemap this year, so at least it isn't skewed. Needs a full field check and update. Dog park is missing, and east edge wasn't copied over.
Fresh Pond
Essentially done. Could be extended further around on the east side to grab some of the meadows.
Mystic River
South side is done, north end around the schools has only been done from photos and needs to have all its fieldwork done.
Boston Common
Only a basemap at this point.
Cat Rock
Georeferenced as best we could with the old map. The lidar data ends halfway across the park. Dean is doing some work on updates here.
Franklin Park
Four more sections of the existing map to check and correct, then it should have the west side mapped down to the pond.
Pine Banks
Needs a remap to ISSOM.
arboretum
Only a basemap, some roads added from photos.
virginia wood
Basemap done, minimal fieldwork done. Its a bit harder to get myself up there to work.
charles river basin
Extension of esplanade map all the way around the basin, also to include magazine beach. Lots of work done from photos, needs fieldwork done.
emerald necklace
Esplanade down to the arboretum. Basemap done, roads/paths added from photos, needs fieldwork.

Hemlock Gorge - newton
Edmands Park - newton
Beaver Brook - Belmont

Too Hot!
Inside 84, outside 94. My outside temperature reads hot, but it was at 103 this afternoon.
Fieldwork finished for Newton Centre Playground though. Need to go back and log my mapping for the past week. Two new maps done!
