This weeks training will be slightly tricky because I've a contact lens appointment tomorrow and I've a Social club event on Thursday but sure we'll make it work.

Tuesday: 3k time trial
Wednesday: Hopefully get a jog in or maybe some hill intervals if im lucky (must charge torch)
Thursday: perhaps lunchtime run but probably just rest day
Friday: I'd love to go climbing but maybe just a run in the park. Depends on how Wed/Thu went
Sat: Down to Killarney hopefully a nice run around there in the hills
Sun: Munster champs

Marking out 400m with the garmin and double checking. Need a trundle wheel next time!

3k Time trial. Was stuck behind people for the first half lap but after that it was me and the new girl out at the front for the first two laps. I gapped her on the third and then ran the rest by myself pretty much was pretty consistent at the pacing though it dropped a little after about the fourth lap because I was on my own.

Pretty happy with the run. The ground was pretty slippy so I'm actually pretty happy with the time.

Don said that I could definitely move up if I want. I think I'll leave it another month. I'm still seeing good results in this group and I really like the girls and Don so we shall see. Don't want to stop myself getting better either but I think I'll be pretty safe for a little while.

Course distance

Castlecomer demesne green course. Bit hung over but alright. About 5/6 mins of mistakes. Focus wasn't there but it was good fun. Id only run on the map there twice which is a little shocking and it was much better updated.

From work to the park around the park twice and back to work.

I'd like to point out that I was talking for most of this. What is wrong with my body. Last night was such stress and it was pretty much the same pace as this and this was longer with no breaks. Very strange. It didn't feel like I was pushing too much either but if it had been 400m longer it would have been better than my parkrun time. Very strange.

Most likely it's because I was so busy trying to make myself look cool in front of Bryan I forgot to be slow. Nice

lower back is a bit tired after yesterday but not as bad as I was expecting. Went and got my eyes tested today. Apparently there's nothing they can do for my bad eye really. It is a bit far sighted but the main problem is that it's a lazy eye and just won't focus. The glasses can't do anything for that. Got a pretty weak perscription for my good eye though so hopefully that will make the map sharper. I've my contact lens appointment next Wednesday and hopefully that goes well.

was supposed to be 3x1mile 60 second rest but my back was so sore I only did 2x1mile and 1x800m was enjoyable enough but wasn't really in the form for speed today.

Thus the lack of speed I suppose

Really tough session. did my usual and then went and did heavy weights with killian. Did dead lifts for the first time. Did 60 and it seemed pretty easy. Probably shouldn't have eased it down every time though I hear that motion makes you more tired. Also feel like 60s probably a bit easy but seeing as it was my first time and I'll probably be crazy domsy tomorrow I said I'd not go too hard.
