orienteering race 27:45 [4]

A bit tentative physically (though pretty smooth on the navigation). Only a total of maybe 2 or 2.5 minutes lost, and not all at once. But my back has been bad for a couple of weeks, and I felt very cautious with my movement, any bending or ducking, foot placement, downhills ... just worried that one wrong move could send it into spasm again. But it didn't happen, phew!

orienteering race 33:49 [4]

Middle Final. Felt much smoother running, muscles and back were looser. I got tired (especially on the hills), but definitely was faster than the morning. Fairly clean, though fluffed the last control (didn't check compass). I like middles - lots of map contact, not much planning ahead.
