Walk (Llyn Coastal Path) 6:10:00 [2] 11.5 mi (32:10 / mi) +840m 26:13 / mi
ahr:81

Parked above Llithfaen then walked through fields mostly on 'Pilgrimage' trail to rejoin CP at Pistyll. With the view ahead dominated by Yr Eifl, rounded the headland quarry of Penrhyn Glas to pitch up at the excellent caffi at Nant Gwrtheyrn. After coffee and an ice cream, began the long climb from sea level to 564 metres, at first on a road, then track to Bwlch Yr Eifl. After the first summit, we missed the bearing in the cloud at the trig point and followed a slightly roundabout route to the remarkable hill fort at Tre'r Ceiri, which was in cloud too so no views. Good contouring path back to car park.

Booked and caught the 8.45 fflecsi-bws to Porth Oer in light drizzle after a soaking wet night. Rain and sheep had made a mess of the path in places near Porth Widlin, and landslip at Porth Colman had 'closed' it altogether. Drizzle kept up past Porth Towyn near Tudweiliog. Returned across fields to Hirdre Fawr campsite having closed the link in the northern CP.

Walk (Llyn Coastal Path) 6:30:00 [2] 15.0 mi (26:00 / mi) +460m 23:44 / mi

Parked in a 'layby' below Garn Boduan then walked through Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn and Edern to join CP at Cwmistir. Followed CP round a very busy Porth Dinllaen (spotted a first seal) and Penrhyn Nefyn to Pistyll, where a moorland road with views of Snowdonia led back to the car.

Walk (Llyn Coastal Path) 6:45:00 [2] 16.0 mi (25:19 / mi) +400m 23:29 / mi

Parked in the NT car park at Aberdaron and caught 9.32 bus up the hill to Mynytho. Reversed lanes to Porth Neigwl, then CP to Aberdaron via Plas yn Rhiw, Mynydd Penarfynyd and (unexpected bonus) Trwyn y Penrhyn. An enormous thunderstorm passed over whilst we sheltered in a friendly barn which, it appeared, required the mountain rescue of two women struck by lightning on Snowdon.

Walk (Llyn Coastal Path) 5:10:00 [2] 11.5 mi (26:57 / mi) +580m 23:18 / mi

Parked at a near empty Porth Oer then walked lanes to Aberdaron. After a coffee picked up CP through Porth Meudwy and round Pen y Cil and Mynydd Mawr headlands, finishing over Mynydd Anelog at a now-busy Porth Oer where an enormous ice cream was the reward. With the views over an enchanted Bardsey Island, this was the best day on the path.

Walk (Llyn Coastal Path) 8:30:00 [2] 20.5 mi (24:53 / mi) +730m 22:24 / mi
ahr:77

Parked with the surfers at Porth Neigwl then followed lanes through Llangian and Mynytho to Llanbedrog (paths were overgrown and unused). Joined CP for walk along the Warren beach and through Abersoch, then round headlands overlooking St Tudwal's islands and below Mynydd Cilan back to car. Somehow managed to underestimate day's walk by about 6 miles! Late finish.
