Was going to stop at end of second lap, when right calf tightened badly running back along the path. It eased so I decided to see it through with care. Caught Luddles going down the last hill. Heel and calf very sore after. Rehab will be important.

Feeling a bit more positive, so thought I'd test the heel. What a mess! Heel seemed alright after about a mile, but at 2 miles right calf (!) started to twinge so I had to massage and stretch it. At 3 miles it was too cramped to run on. By stopping to massage and stretch I managed to jog back along East Street. On the other hand, back/hips/knees not a problem at all. Whaaat?

Parked at Iping Common for c/w circuit of Chithurst, Borden, Woolbeding and Iping. Left heel a real handicap after we stopped for christmas cake and cheese.
