Trail run (Stonehenge Stomp) 3:14:00 [4] 32.0 km (6:04 / km) +250m 5:50 / km
Wasn't quite over cold but was willing to start. And see. Route was a wiggly circuit of Amesbury and Normanton Downs with descents to and over the River Avon then back past all the Stonehenge paraphernalia. Less mud and more grass than recently, which was a welcome bonus. Apart from a group of four youngsters that passed me I was overtaking earlier starting runners almost throughout, so that kept me pushing on, but I was very tired for the last 7km or so. And glad to stop. But I have been unwell. On the whole, though, an encouraging morning in grim conditions. At least I was driving home when the heavier rain arrived in the p.m.
