As a break from the Winter Tanners, brisk jog with Jan from Holmwood Common through Coldharbour to Leith Hill Tower. Then back via Broadmoor, Abinger Forest and Mid Holmwood. Muddy underfoot in parts but mostly pleasant, if hilly, off-road run with only one navigational miss. Felt just fine.

Trail race race (Chichester Parkrun) 20:55 [5] 5.0 km (4:11 / km)

Very muddy and windy. Fun though, and wore Inov8s. Was fourth most of the way but ended in fifth, with tall lean and younger men only ahead. Felt more like training than a race though, mostly because of the conditions. Splits were 6.50, 7.00, 7.05.

Tuesday night is running night in Chi. We were almost sprinting at times, but kept a bit back and may have been carrying some fatigue from the weekend.
