Really cold wind down the beach and through the park pushing the temperature down throughout the session. Freezing and dark by the time I got back to the car. Stayed off the paths and on the soft sides so I could use the ski poles for some practice pushing. Only had to stop once to stretch out the calves.
Stopped to try out the new Sue Holloway exercise park. Nice new equipment but kinda cramped into a small space. The equipment in the old park was run down but there was a lot more room for group activities.
Through the park swinging ski poles and using them whenever there was an incline. Tried some striding up the bigger hills. Lasted maybe 20 seconds each time. Leg complained but never cramped up.
