Nice walk with Mumsey in the falling snow around the Revelstoke loop.
Wanted to go skiing but this was her first outing after 5 days with a cold.
Good stretch afterwards.
Toughest session yet. Around 90 reps of 3 versions of a squat, 60 with weights. Other exercises for ankles, hamstrings, lats, etc. Lots of stretching the shoulder and upper back. Lunges with tension strap. Pooped.
Worked on the snow shoe map for the club. Didn't realize how many changes have been made so I didn't have time to cover all the trails before my hip started to complain. Beautiful conditions. Didn't see a soul except for the groomer working the new snow into the existing hard pack.
Went for a massage later and he concentrated on the shoulder instead of the throbbing hip. He could have spent an hour just on my right side - neck to calf.
Shoulder was stiff after a restless nights sleep. But it loosened up and no complaints while moving weights but some discomfort when extending the shoulder in a backward position. PT is now really concentrating on the posterior muscles especially the lats. Worked the hamstrings well today.
I am amazed how quickly the time flies during these sessions. Enjoying the positive feedback throughout the routines.
