Hiking through the old Huron area with a posse of OOCers. Still pretty thick - not a fun area, at least not in the west side near the Chanplain parkway. Too bad because the topogrphy is great and not too many rocky areas.

Stationary Bike 40:00 [2]

Quick spin and stretch. Hip never complained. Need to do more though, gaining weight.

Good brisk walk to shoppping centre at Hogs Back. Hip felt fine after stretch. Time to try and push the exercise level. Maybe the last injection is starting to take effect - it's been a month!

Checking out the woods and hills on hte old map NE of Lac Philippe. Still a mix of good woods, thick groves of saplings, and uncrosabale marshes. A fai amount of good terrain but very limited route choices due to the uncrossable areas.

Checking the sprint map at Nakkertok. The old map track was way off - almost 80metres in 1.5 Km. Between my pace count and Dirk's bike odometer we found all the problem sections.

Quick spin before dinner. Now I am really pooped. Nearly fell asleep during the photo presentation. Just barely keeping my eys open now.

Note

Closing up the cottage in beautiful weather. Lots of climbling, lifting, etc. Am a bit stiff now but not too bad. Would have liked to stay longer but it's going back down to freezing to-morrow.
