Final check of skate-O challenge. Even at 10am the crowds were getting to me. Gotta love the couples (or foursomes) walking hand-in-hand down the middle of the ice.
Glutes tight, hip aches, hamsrings cramping but I still love it!

Skating - canal 1:30:00 [2]

Canal was completely open but the lake area was very rough. Fell once. Slowly finished the mapping and course setting. Skated hard for the last 20 minutes. Glutes were screaming! But I was happy I did it. Sunny, -6C.
Had to take some Advil for the pain so I could sleep well.

Beautiful ski from P10. Feeling tired so pace was pretty slow. No hip problems but adductors are on edge. Blew the diet again at a cooking class. Yum!

+2C so the canal was soft and the ski trails klister-like. So a brisk walk instead and short stretch-strength.

Beautiful ski from P10. Came across an injured skier on the way back. Got really cold waiting for the ski patrol sled. So had to fill up on goodies from the Chelsea bakery to protect my core temperature. Won't weigh myself today.
