First walk in several days - with the in-laws. Over-eating has begun and I will need more than a 40 minute walk to keep up with the load of calories I have been consuming. Feeling a little bit stronger but still coughing up Phlegm.
Tested negative for the first time in 8 days. Feeling Ok but energy level is still low. Fortunately Gloria has remained negative all week. Shoveled snow for 20 minutes and did some stretching for the back. It's not very tempting to try to ski in the harsh winds so tomorrow I will try a session on the stationary bike. Relatives won't be here until late tomorrow at best with some of the highways still closed.
Pilates class with MU online. Energy low but I finished almost every exercise. Short walk in the afternoon to get some fresh air. Not feeling sick but still a bit of phlegm. Gloria tested negative with the antigen kit but I am still positive.
Felt a bit better today but still a lot of sinus congestion. The question now is: when will Glo pick up the virus? Tested her today and she is still OK. And no symptoms. Coleman loop again just to stretch my legs. Missing out on some good XC skiing.
Very slippery walk around the Coleman loop with mumsey. Feeling better but I tested positive for COVID this afternoon. I hope that I am "clean" by next week-end!
Sore throat a bit better but the cough is worse. Up several times in the night. Dragged my body outside to do some shoveling, probably did too much. Felt lousy all day. Cough lingers this evening even though I took some syrup.
Woke up with a sore throat. Too coincidental that a bridge friend that I played with on Monday night, wrote on Wednesday to say she has COVID. Testing didn't register any COVID, but my symptoms - add a little cough - sure seem suspicious. Dragged around the house all day.
Expected that there would be enough snow at Nakkertok to at least snowshoe around the trails but there was less then in the city. So we hiked in +2C weather to OWL cabin and then back by #4. Cloudy day so no spectacular photos. The hip complained a little but we did take it pretty easy and used hiking poles.
Coleman loop with mumsey. Found out that we were exposed to an active COVID case at bridge Monday night. Yikes! So will take it relatively easy until we can start testing later in the week. Feel fine now. Masking everywhere.
Weight class with Stu of MU. Always take it carefully if there might be any tension on the back. Upper body woks fine. But I know I will be stiff tomorrow.
Revelstoke loop with the detour down to the river with mumsey. No hills on this loop so no leg "cramps". Hip complained a bit but no lasting soreness. Really want to get back on the skis bit I don't like doing the $$ Nakkertrak loop.
Brisk walk with mumsey on the Revelstoke loop. Beautiful down by the river, as the water level is very low and we could walk along the exposed banks for a great distance.
