Shorter than usual S&S class due to connection problems. All straightforward exercises except for the roll-ups. Not even close.

Cycling 1:02:00 [3]

Rideau river circuit. Got caught in a couple of cloud bursts but no lightening.
Very pleasant ride. Paths not busy and the weather not too hot.

Relatively easy S&S class with Stu from the Movement Union. Back was stiff, as usual, but not as bad as last week.

Lower body focus with the MU e-class. Hard on the quads after yesterday's long bike ride.

Actually 2:20 in total time but stopped to enjoy the views and to talk with Doug at the kayak slalom venue. Good thing I started relatively early because the heat was getting uncomfortable. Should have carried an extra bottle of water.
Worked hard at the cottage over the last few days. Came home 3 pounds lighter.

More strength than stretch in the MU class this morning. I am learning to protect my back when he uses certain exercises.

Great weather, not so hot with a bit of a breeze. Played my best round so far, or should I say my least worst.

Started out relatively cool but by noon it was too hot to be enjoyable. Some very detailed areas where I can’t put everything on the map. All the small marshes are dry - as expected with this hot weather.

Strength class with MU. Had to sit out some of the exercises that stressed my lower back. Removed the memory foam from the bed. Seems to help with the back soreness/stiffness issue.

Nice ride with mumsey west to Britannia and then back by the trillium trail. Not so hot today but we were still pooped and parched.

Relatively easy MU eclass but my back was too sore to do all the back-stressing exercises. It’s an intermittent problem that I have to figure out.

After four days at the cottage where we worked and played all day it was nice to give our sore backs a good stretch with Stu at the MU eclass.

Stu is back from vacation so we joined the Movement Union e-class. Mostly gentle motion and stretching but my middle back muscle didn’t like a couple of the moves.

Nice ride on the 23 km Trillium loop. Lots of other cyclists enjoying the good weather. Back was fine, but hips are now sore.

Hot & humid walk to the pharmacy along the parkway bike trail with mumsey.
Pulled something in my back last night and my hips were stiff and quads were sore. So I took it easy with a couple of water stops to stretch the calf.

Down the river to the transit bridge and back with mumsey. A good route for the hot and humid weather.

Walk with mumsey on the Coleman loop. Met up with friends also on the same loop. So lots of walking and talking. Super humid.

Followed MU’s Thursday class. More stretch than strength. Back was very stiff again getting out of bed. Felt better after the class.

Golfing 1:52:00 [1]

Hot day, good company, lousy golf. My most inconsistent round yet. Thin, fat, hook, and shank. Left all my good swings on the practice tee.
