After 15 minutes of warming up with the resistance bands, a harder than usual set of weight machine exercises that focussed on the shoulders and chest. Thought of a short swim afterwards but did laps of the hot tub instead.
Beautiful ski day up at Nakkertok. On the trails for 2.5 hours but a whole lot of time resting on the chalet deck, chatting, posing for pics, etc.
The trails are disintegrating quickly. Maybe a final ski mid-week.
Had a massage this afternoon, wherein Travis nearly drove me to tears working on my calves. Bit it helped a bit 'cause the cramping was not as severe as the last long walk.
Good stretch afterward watching the tennis from Miami.
Back was sore this morning (from yesterday's exercises, I guess) so I didn't extend myself on any of the weight machines.
Weight is hanging around 160. : (
Feeling worse than yesterday from the shingles shot. Nice weather so the walk was a tonic for the way I felt. Usual 5K Revelstoke route.
Good stretch and a set of core exercises afterwards.
-7 but sunny and no wind so it was a pleasant Sunday stroll. No improvement on the lower leg cramping issue. Calm when walking slowly but after a few minutes of open stride the cramping restarts.
Had my bag packed for a workout at the club but was feeling so lousy I had a nap instead. Didn’t help much so I headed out for a walk in the windy -6C weather. That perked me up but my stomach is still upset.
Enjoyable temperatures, a few flakes, and very little wind made for a pleasant walk. Leg was still cramping soon after I started but it settled down after a couple of stretches and rest.
Relatively easy workout. Tried a couple of new machines, one for the lower back and one for the core. I am always nervous with the lower back so I took it very easy.
Felt good on the bike, except for the burning quads, but as soon as I started walking around I realized I might have pushed a bit too hard. Hamstrings started to cramp later in the evening, fell asleep watching the telly.
Enough work on the shoulders so I cancelled the follow up swim for extra time in the hot tub. : )
Have that agreeable “tired for a good reason” feeling. No sore bits, bonus.
Good spin at the club watching an episode of Altered Carbon on Netflix. Sure helped pass the time.

Down the canal and over the locks at Hartwell for a short loop in the Arboretum.
Leg was cramping badly after 10 minutes so I had to stop for a good stretch. Same thing a couple of more times during the walk.
Good stretch afterwards and some (ouch) yoga ball massage on the calves.
Good spin at the club. Solidly in zone 2 most of the time. Right leg complained but I pushed through the discomfort. Good lower body stretch afterwards.
Pleasant weather but the lower leg complained a lot even in my new shoes!
Short rests don’t work. It takes a 2 minute break for the leg to settle down.
