Hot and humid so it was not the most pleasant of work days. Covered a bland and slow area in the NE corner. Still another day left in that area - think I will save it for later in the fall.
Muggy day in the woods with lots of mosquitos so I stayed in the clearings and trails as much as I could. Quit before I was overtired but the legs are cramping now.
Started out at a good pace on a very hot day but hit the wall just after lunch. Was getting disoriented easily. Nice woods though- in the very NE corner of the map. Changed the bank line on three of the lakes I had surveyed in the spring. Will have to go back in the October to check again.
First full day on the Barrens North base. Met up with a new landowner who was very welcoming - and interesting. Looking forward to working on his 100 acres.
good day on the ridge near the Beck's farm. Probably could have stopped sooner. Lost by bearing a couple of times before I quit. Poor sleep the previous night and all the week's activity pushing my energy level down. Hip a bit tight but OK.
Good zone 1 spin to downtown. While others complain about the "cool" weather, it's great for exercise.
Paddling on Monday, cottage repairs on Tuesday and Wednesday, don't really count as training but it's keeping the weight down. Stiff in a lot of areas that I don't "train" but otherwise fee great.
Nice spin on the canal route. Pushed fairly hard on the way out then kinda died on the way back. Best exercise in 2 weeks. Sinus are still draining.

Been walking every day with Mumsy but this was a good brisk 5K on the Revelstoke loop. Weight is down with all this exercise. Hip is a little stiff but otherwise happy.
