Jogged maybe 50% of the time. Great to run along the beach again with the water level up. Stayed on soft surfaces as much as I could. No pain in the hip - just a little stiff.
Good day on ridge and up at Arnprior. New LiDAR base is easier to use but I will have to align the old photos for the clearings. Will save time in the long run. Gilles woods were nice but there are more small paths than I thought. Fun to be in good bush on such a nice day.
Checking the Carp Ridge map towards the north end near Seligy's. Not a lot of fun. Base was hard to relate to and got stuck in a lot of bush. Very inefficient use of time.
Felt sluggish all day. After working in the yard I was tired but headed downtown on the bike. Felt much better on the ride and after the stretch afterwards but the hip is really stiff. Maybe the massage to-morrow will help. Kicking myself for not organizing another injection earlier.
Jogged 50% of the 5K loop to the first fountain. Good stretch after. Feel good now - we will see how stiff we are to-morrow. Otherwise happy to have jogged that much!
Mapping up at Arnprior with Richard for next year's NAOC sprint. Hip was very stiff at the end. Can't reveal too much about the area. Six churches (so far). Lovely along both rivers. Some strange looks from the friendly townfolk. Updating the trail map I tell them.
feeling tired and start mapping at Arnprior to-morrow so just enjoyed the fine weather with a brisk walk without a coat and hat. It's officially spring now because my eyes are itchy and I sneeze a lot. Yay!
Nice cycle down the canal in reasonably nice weather. No real aches and pains but I am tired. Hope I didn't over do it. Will try a jog to-morrow if the energy level is OK.
Pleasant walk around Revelstoke loop. Feeling tired today for no particular reason. So no incentive to do much more. With the bad weather coming will go back to spinning. Miss the music.
First bike ride of the season. Downtown and back. Probably pushed too hard on the way out and had to slow down but overall felt great. Usually can do the loop in around 60 minutes.
Jogged for about 8 minutes of the session with one Mount Mooney. Adductors complained, glutes complained, but not so much. Leapt an icy puddle and strained my back instead. But not so much. Good stretch afterwards. Will get out on the mountain bike to-morrow.
To Carleton and back. Actually broke out into a jog for a few minutes on the soft and wet grass in the park. Felt like I weighed 200 pounds. But the hip didn't complain so I will continue to build in more jogging.
Travis found lots of knots from my back down to my calves. Felt really beat-up afterwards but I know it's all good in the long run.
Revelstoke loop in bright sunshine but cool and windy. Good stretch and strength afterwards. Been feasting the last couple of days. Afraid to check the scale.
Good spin with the heart rate in Zone 2 for a good while. Will have to be more scientific about this and strap on the HR monitor. Only a short stretch after.
