Started Red @ Ridley.

Felt great for first 90 seconds, then running through an abandoned parking lot, tripped hard on some briar and went down on a pile of asphalt. Could've been a lot worse, but managed to get up with a scraped up palm, hip, and lump on my knee.

Going slower after that not wanting to fall again on an open scrape (and it was pouring rain & slippery), but otherwise fine, till 3, when I searched around 4 ruined rootstocks in the area whether the map showed one. Gave up & went to 4, then back toward 3 (with Oriana & Angelica at that point, who were on Orange - they went reverse for the same leg.)

While re-searching the same hill side more, with Angelica confused behind me, Oriana drifted pretty much immediately to a 2m tall stump 20m past the crest of the hill, and said "here it is..."

Didn't feel like racing the rest of course after that given it'd be thrown out (or at least I'd SPW), and it was a bit long and wet to jog the rest, so came back in, swapped for a Green map, went out reverse looking to spectate AJ - though I missed him as we took a different route choice at one point...
