Orienteering race 3:55:00 [3]

Rugged Rogaine 1 at Papahiwi Station

Awesome fun. Teamed up with Tara.
We scored 370 points in the first half... then 80 points in the 2nd half!

The scoring rate was always going to slow a lot, but I got ambitious and tried to drag poor Tara through steep bush. Her speed dropped a lot and so we had little time to pick up more controls! A gamble that failed!
Plus we somehow missed finding a 50pt control in stream!

Legs felt really good after feeling very sore in recent weeks.
