w Jas from Maungakawa / French Pass junction.. then up to the top of French pass hill.
thought I was going pretty well up the hill until Jas caught me up (after he had a rest at the bottom) and smashed me to the top!

Then back again

10.5k apparently

Good to run somewhere a bit different

Run from Gym club to Hamilton MTB park and back. Felt pretty good although slightly sore legs from previous days race.

Orienteering race 23:36 [5]

Porritt Park Race.
13 seconds fast enough to beat Jas. The Tapering worked.

Loved having a good course on a new area. Great use of what is a pretty simple Orienteering area.

Did lose a little bit of time here and there. Wrong angle across field to 12. Slight hesitation on spur above control at 14. 2min to take my shirt off and leave at the damaged control. I reckon road to #10 was best but I didn't do that.

Smashed by my little brother as usual.
