Run hills 59:30 [4]

Up Sanatorium Hill w Jas.
Apparently quite a bit faster than last week, but you could have fooled me as it seemed to hurt just as much.

I wanted to do a 2nd loop, but Jas was really pathetically soft and whimped out. Which shows how tough I am.

Left my old torn polyprop part way up the hill and forgot to collect it on the way down. Linda will be pleased I have now got rid of it!

Orienteering race 43:10 [3]

Ran Rototuna Rogaine from the other night. Didn't have any clues so just sort of stopped in each circle and counted to 10... OK I didn't usually stop but did walk for 10 seconds.
Did the flying fox and hung around the public toilet for a short time as a surrogate for the activity.
I didn't like the close loop as there were long out and back controls that distorted it and so I think it was not as attractive as it looked. So went to the southern loop group of controls which has a good flow to them.

Ended up with 23 + 5 points, so beaten by 1 pt.

Didn't quite get the ending right with nearly 2 min to spare, but was working on this over the last 10 minutes and couldn't figure better way to finish.

Run up the river trails - pretty cruisy. Although dug it in up a few hills.
