Late afternoon jaunt down the dirt road. Not much zip, but trying to make this more run, less plod, as best I could. Trying to run off my toes & with a higher cadence. HR jumped up noticeably at about 1000m mark and stayed there after a big black bear startled me by popping out and crossing dirt road right in front of me - ~25m or so.
