AP flagged this as hiking and, well, it kinda was. White map, less than white woods, wasn't much that really felt runnable and the body just didn't feel like pushing that hard with saplings and fallen junk underfoot. Most legs straight at a walk. No real errors but at that speed there shouldn't be. A few control locations a bit vague, so wandered in the circle a few times until watch beeped. But by #11, it was clear I wasn't getting a lot out of it, so bailed to the train tracks for a run back.

Train tracks, then trail. Tripped and fell a few times on the trail, apparently not enough energy to properly lift my feet. Just a few scrapes though, no major damage.

Hip still achy, though less noticeable when I am fully extending my stride vs a slower shuffle stride. Perhaps muscles in my hip region are just tight and need more range of motion?

Birthday lunch date w/ Ellen. Grabbed takeout from BT's Smokehouse in Sturbridge and took it to a parking area in Brimfield to enjoy on a warm, but overcast day. Then worked off a few calories on the Grand Trunk Rail Trail - an enjoyable section of trail with a couple loops, so a bit more interesting than a straight out and back - though that would have been fine too.
