60F, sunny. Called for shorts & a tee shirt, so made it thus with a Billygoat shirt. This was hard work, couldn't seem to get my HR up to match my percieved exertion for the first half, though it did come up some on the back half. But thinking part way around I should just throttle back and not keep pushing. Walked plenty of the hills, but just short stretches. But otherwise just kept pushing and quite surprised to see I took 78s off my previous best from a couple weeks ago.

6.8km nominal course. 11 controls. On the way to control #1 I realized I started the watch as a normal run, not using the O-Range app. So stopped the track, saved, then picked up where I was in the app for the rest of the course.

And the majority of the course including all controls as recorded by O-Range. Starting the app while already on course added a couple extra 'splits' so the control numbers are off by one. Quite a physical course owing the variety of vegetation underfoot, most of it non yet mapped so a guessing game, particularly on longer legs. But hit all the controls just fine, even though the route between may not always have been the straightest. Started sprinkling as I 'punched' the final control.
