25F, sunny. Nice run, icy on trails, minor snow in woods. Pretty clean run, some hunting in circle to locate sign. Misread contours and pulled up short on #8, maybe 20 sec lost. A little overshot on 10 - went over proper knoll but was looking at next one up and got there before turning around to see sign where I already was. But went back and tapped sign for good measure. #11 initially looking on western knoll having misread description. Again, a real flag would have been real obvious, signs less so unless spot on with description.
Not too speedy, but consistent and a fine way to spend the morning. Anna & Veronica had a nice stroll on the medium course hitting everything except #7 which the cut out to make it back to the car by noon. Places to be and such.
Tired legs this AM, but the fatigue from pushing hard on yesterdays run is markedly different from the generalized fatigue I've been experiencing the past few months.

Seriously thinking of driving out for the Flying Pig in March. On the fence about whether I want to do a solo drive. If anyone wandering through here wants to share a ride and provide travelling company (looks to be about 12 hours each way), let me know. Expect to have a new camper shell for the truck installed by then, so can provide "lodging" options at Carter Caves campground.

28F, overcast. Strider group run at the forest, finishing on the newly renovated tower. Then a quick jam back down Soapstone Rd to the parking lot. Felt good to run fast in short bursts.
