Run - Road (Tolland - Random Roads) 2:40:00 [3] 27.0 km (5:56 / km)

9:45 AM - variable clouds, mid 20's. Decided to head out for 2+ hours on roads with full Hydration Pack (weight training?). Loop through Tolland Home-Bald Hill-Crandalls-Metcalf-Gehring-Rt 31 -Reed, Mountain Spring-Shenipsit Lake-Home. 490m climb. Some dirt, mostly paved roads. Chest tight, legs sluggish for first half hour or so, then improved. Kind of ran out of energy late in run and walked much of the last 2 miles home. Lets just call it a warm-down... [Brahmas]

Run - Trail (Airport Run + bonus) 1:39:38 [3] 15.25 km (6:32 / km)

8:10 AM - mid 20's, clearing - Went for a snowshoe run with Tom. Followed Shenipsit Trail around the mountain, then went across Soapstone Rd. to try out newly discovered bike trail through a grove of older 2nd growth hemlock. Very nice. Came back out onto Soapstone Rd. (dirt / packed snowmobile) near 4 corners and headed out to do the Airport run from here. Opted to 'time trial' the quarry trail downhill at the end. 65 seconds with snowshoes. [Brahmas on Redfeather Sport 25's]

Run - Road ('round the lake) 1:26:34 [3] 16.5 km (5:15 / km)

1:30 pm - sunny, 20's - began by running trails (~8" powder snow) that had been ridden by ATV's and after 20 minutes of slipping and slopping decided to bail out to dirt/paved roads and run around Shenipsit Lake. Pushed the pace on the last mile of Shenipsit Lake Rd. at about 4.5 min/km. [Brahmas]
