Course B
Mike & I were late, so we were planning on just doing our own thing. But as we arrived everyone was still there and it was WCOC-shirt group photo time! I quickly got ready to run the first leg of the sprint-relay!
Fun short course, sprinting without a warm-up made for heavy breathing and I was very tired coming up the hill on the way back.

Course A
Mike did a good job on the 2nd leg and tagged me off shortly after Joe changed over to Pavlina. I passed her after a few controls and managed to send Mike off in the lead..
Joe caught Mike by the last control and they surprised us all by finishing from the wrong direction. The Brautigam's took the win and then Mike accidentally cleared before downloading.

The relay was followed by yet another wonderful time with delicious food and fun people generously hosted by the lovely DeWeese's!

Easy run with Mike & Jon on the trails in Old Saybrook. We tricked Jon into doing the longest run of his life =)
On the way back we heard what sounded like a pack of dogs and wolfs, barking/howling loudly.. coyotes?!
