(sick)
Woke up with a sore throat, probably got Mike's cold. Early start to make it to the slopes and beat some of the crowds. We chose to go to Sugarbush again. Getting there right after 9am wasn't early enough. With this being a Holiday weekend, much more people than last weekend.
We did one run at North Lynx Peak and then we took the transfer lift over to Mt Ellen which was less crowded and had some nice trails. There was a thick layer of powder but with all the people it was quickly pushed off, exposing lots of icy spots.
The rental place didn't have much left so I had to settle for some shorter skis. A combination of the conditions, not feeling a 100% and equipment made it less enjoyable this weekend but I still got some nice runs in. And we ended the day back at Lincoln Peak, did a few runs on my favorite combo Lower Jester & Lower Downspout.
Great weekend & great company celebrated at the "after ski" where we were introduced to an awesome beer: Fiddlehead IPA
