Stiff and sore, was looking forward to yoga. But it felt like there was a lack of oxygen in the room and that made me dizzy. And then the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building. The gym manager told us to go down and wait in the lobby, hopefully it would be ok to come back up soon. But as we were standing there, this brown water suddenly started flooding the floors, we moved outside and could see how it also started pouring from the ceilings. Not a pretty sight. Fire department arrived and we heard rumors that a water pipe had burst after someone had left a door open on the 6th floor and it froze. So no fire but severe flooding which probably will take a while to fix.

We were a group of girls waiting outside hoping that the zumba was still gonna happen. But as it didn't seem likely the gym would open again that evening some girls suggested we use a gym room in their apartment building not too far away. It worked out great just that there was a yoga class starting at 7pm, so we only had time for half a class.

Similiar to Course A, opposite direction and some of the same controls. I overshot the last control, by running too far on the trail below.

First did a loop with Mike in the north end of West Rock. Taking it gentle as my knee is quite sore after the fall Wednesday. Parts of these trails are a bit rocky but some parts are just beautiful with less rocks, green moss & pine needles. Temperature was great for running and the sun was out.
Then I ran back home. As I passed the road by the green house Mike was there cheering me on and handing me some water :-)

Note

Forgot to write that that first little pause we took off the trail was to scope out the rust buckets that's sitting there. Among other stuff, all rusted apart: a VW beetle, another car that kind of looked like a mini but wasn't, parts of a tractor, three cute little tricycles.

with Mike at Maltby lakes. Perfect night for a run. Little wheesy & coughy but it worked. On the way back I took a digger which resulted in another cut in my already multi-scared knee, oh well.

It's a fight to get out of the warm bed so early, but this class is such a great way to start the day.
