I was excited to run night-o, it's a special feeling :)
Left the house, started my watch and got to the trail thinking "feels like I missed something" and yes I did: to start punch..
Some hesitation going to 1, thought it was far down the hill. Got stuck in the laurel leaving 3, wanted to cut through to the trail, gave up and went back to the trail close to 3. Went, what I heard afterwards and realized out there wasn't the most optimal, trails right to fence corner and had to fight through the laurel to get to 4. Had trouble finding 7, 10 & 11. Went trails left to 12, would be interesting to compare split with someone who went right.. Some hesitation going down to 14. And after turning the finish flag, hanging from the basketball hoop, inside out a couple of times I went inside to ask where the finish punch was(!) Oops, it was on a stand out there.

Note
Very nice evening at Ratlum mountain! Delicious dinner and desserts! Many great stories and laughs! And the Grollman twins had everyone's attention, they're adorable.
And then there's Jim Henderson who had read on my log that I like lussekatter, looked it up at Wikipedia and found a Swedish bakery in MA who made them for him so he could bring some to the party! Awesome. They're good! With saffron and cardamom. Mums! (Swedish for yummy)
