cool technical training at Ansonia that Boris's friend put together. only little spots of the map, around the controls + sometimes in between, were showing. i had the regular map + course with me too and already on my way to 1st i had to look at it. should mention that the ground was covered with snow and just as we headed out it started raining. i tried using the funny looking map to 2nd and 3rd too but then i gave up, wasn't patient enough today. wanted to keep moving to not get cold. was hesitating a bit by some of the controls, making sure i was at the right feature but overall i had a nice time out there! although it was creepy with all the blood on the trails..

Peter Grollman, Boris and my clubmate from home Mattias was also there.

just got back from YALE Nordic Society's lussekatt-baking-get-together which was really fun. there were three other Swedes, one of them having so much in-common with me that's it's hard to believe we haven't met.. for example he used to run for OK Löftan. anyway, think we're about to recruit another runner/orienteer to our New Haven group.

Run at west rock, first part with Kat & then with Boris. So nice with running company, especially when your headlamp fades out with about 15 min left to the car.

I'm a bit sore from yogalates so zumba felt a little tougher today. Still think it was good with some shakin & hip movements to loosen it up.
