Just tipping along mostly, didn't have any big goals. Did put in a big effort to try to get a new top speed on the downhill. Time went by pretty quickly actually, though the bike is making some weird squeak on the turbo which I tried to check a few times. Not much distance due to the hilly route chosen.

Gina and Toby today. Working on some reds. Had a tasty slide off a slab that got the HR up. Didn't hurt myself though which is good, although left bicep is a bit uncomfortable later. Definitely feel like my core and shoulders arent that strong at the moment.

Note

Sting on the leg from Sunday is very swollen and extremely itchy. Seems like this is the 3rd time this has happened (19 Jul 2019, 15 Sep 2015). Back of the hamstring isn't the worst spot

Intervals on the fernhill track +Wu and cd. They've drawn distances in it now which is very helpful.

Another session i completely made up with the goal to be just run around a bit quicker and enjoy it. Patti successful I think. No pain anywhere so loving life at the moment.

I should get some new shoes... I've migrated back to my old ones as they don't give me blisters every time I wear them which is nice.

Note

Advice these days is to not go into the office so I won't be doing that this week. Secondary from Friday (November has had crazy amounts of oncall). On Sunday I was reasonably able to just tip along fine, but struggled with being aggressive through physical terrain and like jumping up earthbanks and stuff. Sting from yesterday very very itchy this morning.

Monday - am easy 20 mins
Tuesday - am intervals, Fernhill is open at 830 these days which is a bit tight but should work. pm gym
Wednesday - 1 hour run
Thursday - easy run to climbing
Friday - rest
Saturday - parkrun, easy enough
Sunday - 90 mins turbo

Went to The Book or Mormon in town. Was very good, would recommend. Home pretty late. You know your getting old when you think that at 11pm...
