Shorter long one rounding out an easier week. Trying to finish off everything on the far side of the N11. Did see two guys in full PPE wheeling a coffin from an ambulance into a building. Not a great sign. Felt very good and relaxed.

Nice and easy keeping it local around the industrial estate. Starting to run low on new roads for these shorter runs.

To the pitches for a 15 min tempo. Took a longer route there. Quite busy out, more cars in the road than there have been. Seems like people are getting tired of this lock down a bit.
Tempo felt good, nice consistent effort. Went clockwise for a change.
Then home a direct way.

Feeling fresher this morning. Did one of the "as the crow flies" nearby estates but that I have to go quite the ways around to actually get into it.

Jogged with Conor to the pitches and then some nice threshold intervals. Fierce busy out on what was a lovely evening for running, sunny but not too hot.

Felt nice, in the zone. I put a new battery in my HRM on Sunday and it really is giving what feels like more reasonable readings. Going into zone 5 corresponds exactly with not being able to breath and tightening up significantly.

Jog home then via some extra grass.

Legs a bit stiff after yesterday still. Also quite tired, didn't sleep as much as I maybe could have. Got out the door in the morning though and this was grand in the end. Worth it for the fox and two cubs for sure.
