Early plane. Massive thanks to Ross for driving us. Very low stress to get the bags on. Sneaky lounge. Bikes took a while to come out in Dublin, where we had to build them before putting them on the bike rack of the car Don was picking us up in. Some re-org and maintanence in Ballymore, along with family dinner before moving to Blanch where I'll be until the end of October. Tough day, fairly tired.

Very token warm up. Got a bit caught up chatting to people becuase I thought I wouldn't have time afterwards.

Running (road) race 20:04 intensity: (23 @0) + (1:08 @1) + (1:01 @2) + (5:20 @3) + (8:20 @4) + (3:52 @5) 5.0 km (4:01 / km) +10m 3:58 / km

parkrun
Wanted to see some of these people before we left and we were actually decently on top of the cleaning so had time. My aim was for about 20, where I started easy and picked it up. As such, first km was slow. Tucked in behind a guy who seemed to be going at the right speed but after about 1.5k he tailed off rapidly. Left 2 in front of me and I tried to focus on holding the gap the the nearest one up to 3k and then to push on from there. Went ok. km 4 I was getting quicker and then noticed I hadn't taken the inhaler, bit of lungs catching so had to work with that. Looked at my watch at the 4k sign and needed to do a 3:32 last k which seemed unlikely. Turns out the 4k sign was a bit late and I was running about 3:40 anyway so would probably have dipped under 20 if I'd looked at my watch in the last 1-200m metres.

Note

packing and driving and for the day. Got a free trailer from IKEA to give to charity/throw out the various things. Then stayed in Ross/Sam's for the night. Bit sad to be leaving really, but it's for new exciting things so it's ok.

Relay "skillz" training in Tjäderleksberget. Mixed bag. Started in 3s, I was with Viktor at 1 but didn't believe it was my 1 (no codes/descriptions) so wandered around a bit. Then held onto the David train through the butterfly. Bit unsure on 9 but got it ok actually, then decent, though not amazing and feeling a bit heavy (still very tired since getting back from US), for the next part until 14. 15 I actually got perfectly but thought the control was on the rock, it was on the knoll so didn;t see the kite and ran around trying to work out what was happening. Went back and realised what had happened. 16 fine, and then same problem again on 17. Fun evening all the same.

Running (off-road) warm up/down 4:39 intensity: (52 @0) + (1:23 @1) + (1:19 @2) + (43 @3) + (22 @4) 0.74 km (6:18 / km) +2m 6:13 / km

Home. Glad I brought the gloves as getting a bit colder in the evening, and darker.

Back from holidays, a very fun time and have some back logging to do.
Tired from jet lag today and this will probably be a stressful week, leaving the apartment on Saturday and Sweden on Sunday so some packing, tidying and cleaning to do.
